I also left out the “CONGRATULATIONS!!!” part. I am sure you can figure out what that is in relation to. :D
Also, I thought this photo would be a good addition to the photos of the market. Click on it to see what is in the picture, and how much we spent (also a much larger version of this photo).
Rain is eminent here. Power may be a bit sketchy later today.

ReplyDeleteeminent = "exhibiting eminence, especially in standing above others in some quality or position"
imminent = "ready to take place; especially : hanging threateningly over one's head"

I was looking at all those cool, exotic fruits on your picture page. Some of them look very interesting! It brought back memories of trying new fruits when I was in Chile -- but none of those ones. I got to try things like the tuna (the name of a fruit) and the cheremoya. How fun! I wonder why they don't export some of those fruits to the States?
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw the picture of the inside of the Copuaçu, I thought it looked like the Russian dish "pelemeni," which is like little boiled dumplings with meat inside. Funny!
God is so creative!
Thanks for the correction Sarah. I actually thought it might be the other spelling, but the clouds were so ominous that I ignored the impluse to check the dictionary.
ReplyDeleteAs for the fruits, I would like to get a post together on those at some point soon--maybe after all this Christmas and New Year stuff quits taking up all my time. :D ;)
