- The job offer is not full time. It would be a few hours a week.
- The job is teaching English via an extension program.
- I would be teaching English teachers in some classes, and in others, I would be teaching advanced students.
- I could supplement the work there with work at other English Schools
- The department head is the wife of one of the directors who interviewed me in December and January. (She said she would see if there was a possibility of my getting work there after all.)
If you have questions, post them here, or email me. I have lost many of your addresses, so if you have not received and update from me recently, and would like to, send me an email.
So what are your guys' plans? Are you trying to get this work so you can live there longer? Or are you simply trying to occupy your time until you come back to the U.S.?
ReplyDeleteGood question Phil. I wish I knew a definitive answer. (Do you have one for me?) :)
ReplyDeleteThe fact is that we are open to either option. I have a feeling, though, that the deciding factor will be my obligation to pay off my student loans.
I am still waiting for my paperwork, and a lot of it depends on what kind of work I find/don't find.
Clear as mud? Sorry, that is the best I can do at the moment. When the sediment settles to the bottom, and I know more, I will post it here.
