The rhythm of our new life is finding its groove, and settling in. It is still not ÒthereÓ yet, but with so many rapid changes I do not expect it will be for some time.
We have come up with what we think is a name that will stick for the dog: Brat. Brat she is, too. We really need to get a leash and collar for her; she will not stay where we want her to, even with the various ways we have come up with to keep her in line. Discipline is workingÑsometimes. I guess the training process is going to take more than a day or two after all (that is a joke, just in case you were wondering).
I have been trying to figure out how to balance all the housework with work for the school. So far I have not been successful. Part of that has been due to a recent ailment, which, though it is not common in the USA, is far to common for my tastes here. It is one in which parasites take up residence within a person's intestines, thereby robbing nutrients from the host's food. This leaves the host with a lack of energy and feeling tired a lot (and in my case, craving chocolate). The medicine, and resulting convulsions within are not pleasant.
Anyway, usually the housework suffers most from the lack of balance. Speaking of which, there is laundry to hang up.
