Party for Yluscka

We now have internet at the house! It is a blessing to have, but I have to be careful about how I spend my time now. Catching up with friends and family has been great the past few days (I am still catching up on some old emails a little at a time). Anyway, the real reason for this post is below. Have fun!

As you may be able to see from the photos above (trying something new, so bear with me if it does not work), we had quite a party. Last night we celebrated Yluscka's 6th birthday.

It was quite a fun party. Nádya and I both really enjoyed helping make this a very memorable occasion in the family timeline. The whole experience made me think about the family unit, and how we are so connected even when we are not in close physical proximity. Our memories of togetherness is what makes up the fabric of the family. Years from now I will look at the pictures and videos of this party and remember what it was like. Who was there, what part of life we were in. So cool.
