A Smelly City Waits

I do not have a picture, but then you don't want to see this. Really.

The garbage collectors are on strike. Garbage usually gets picked up three times a week. It has been six days since they passed by. Imagine (... or don't) the things that get thrown away sitting on the sidewalk in the intense heat.

One does not have to try in order to smell the city when passing in a bus. Hopefully this will all be over soon.

But then, we are due for a bus strike here soon too...

[Update: I can hear the garbage truck passing now. Whew!]
