Not going to write a lot right now. Just thought I would let you know we have some pictures of our new dog, Lady on the internet. She is Fila Brasileira (Brazilian Line), though not purebred.
[Update: Since this was posted I have done some research with people who know. Lady is not a Fila Brasileira. Just a mixed breed dog. We were told that she was a Fila, though.]
She is a bit of a mix, though I kind of doubt the Wiemaraner is in there. Pit Bulls are a pretty common dog here, so that is entirely likely, though her coloring is not like any Pit Bull I have ever seen (most I have seen here are white, with dark patches).
I didn't do a lot of reasearch (one site) but her description seems to closely match the one at: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/filabrasileiro.htm
She is really a fun dog to have--except when get gets in the house and thinks the floor is a great place to leave her mark...
She doesn't seem like a fila brasileiro... it's more like a mix between weimaraner and pit bull. But she's very pretty though!
